Enlightening began in 1992 as a one man show. Founder, John Stewart, walked down a snow covered street in Germany and stood mesmerised as he watched the name of a local business being projected in razor sharp clarity, changing colours and moving slowly around in a circular motion, as if dancing on the snow. He thought of what a powerful medium this would be for promotion and marketing – and thus the journey to bring this projected image technology to Australia had begun.
Since that lightbulb moment abroad, the company has grown and our passion for creating memorable lighting installations remains the foundation of the business. Adding to John’s existing Engineering and technical qualifications, knowledge and studies in Lighting and Marketing only reinforced the idea that this exciting business could be serviced and offered in our local marketplace.
Now, over 25 years later, Enlightening Australia has earned a reputation for service and products of outstanding quality. We have completed many fantastic installations ranging from small floor and footpath projections to tremendous full-building illuminations.
